It's really a year of increasing capacity and Ps Lee Choo is all set to build up our character and determination to make 2009 and beyond a better worship team!! To start things off, thanks to Andrew William for putting up everything together for our first bi-monthly gathering this year with the theme "Pasta & Salad". It's all about getting together as one team to worship the Lord as well as having some fun time and food together. Our aim; to achieve unity and teamwork with one another!! I'm sure it will help all of us to bond together more closely =)

This afternoon, Ps Lee Choo imparted to us words of encouragement and wisdom as we began our new year. Psalm 121:1-2 says, "I lift up my eyes to the hills - where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth." Just before that, Emmanuel led us with a fun ice breaker where he have to untangle ourselves into a big circle. We were also given a chance to ask Larry, our new worship leader, 3 difficult questions.. LOL Blanche led us with a time of worship. Finally, after Ps Lee Choo's impartation, we all headed to the canteen for some really yummy homemade pastas, salads, lagsagne and many more...

Atone Christmas Dinner

.141208. Atone Christmas Dinner @ Euro Deli, Jalan Yap Kwan Seng

Last Sunday, my church's worship ministry had an early Christmas celebration at Euro Deli. It was certainly a cozy restaurant to celebrate Christmas especially and the food there was delicious too!! Euro Deli is famous for their sausages and their other western dishes is also good!! After that night, my sister has decided to treat my family for a Christmas dinner on the 26th of December!! Yeahoooo~ More sausages for me! =D

And so, last Sunday I was the official photographer for the party and we reached there at about 5.30pm to prepare the table gifts and also setting up of the PA systems. The team really put up alot of effort even weeks before the dinner to ensure everyone enjoy the best out of it... *applause* to the "Weeks Before Christmas* team!!

Everyone had lots of fun watching teams being pinalised for not submitting their photo entries which cost them a dance in front of everyone =D LOL... All of us had a scrumptious dinner and the pop quiz added excitement for the night!! Party ended after announcing 3 of the most important award of the night which was Ms Ownership (Jin May), Mr Respect (Paul) and Ms Encouragement (Joanna Chin). The weeks before christmas assignments winning group is non other than "The Red Nose Reindeer". Congratulations to all other winners as well and good job again to the organising team members!!

To those who have yet to watch "Money not Enough 2", you must quickly grab hold of that DVD and watch okay??? It's super emotionally nice movie to watch, especially together with your family. At least, that's what I thought though =D

2 weeks ago, I went for my church's worship ministry retreat and here are some random photos apart from my last updates. LOL =p

Mina's Farewell

.041008. Mina's Farewell @ Auntie Jin Iy's Residence

Just came back from Mina's farewell. It was a night to remember for Mina as the Atone Ministry and some of her closest sisters in church came together to Auntie Jin Iy's house and made her cry (Tears of joy and uncontrollable emotions of a heavy heart of course...) before she leaves back to Korea for good.

It has definitely been a wonderful 7 years for her in Malaysia as she settled down to work and seize the opportunity that she found here. She was truly blessed to be a blessing in SIBKL and now, I strongly believe that it is time for her to bless others back in her home land. And of course, the memories that she had here in SIBKL will be cherished forever. (Not that we're not going to see each other anymore though) When the time comes, we shall meet again, perhaps when AirAsia flies to Korea or something. LOL

Not gonna write anymore now though, time to sleep already. Tomorrow gotta wake up at 6+am for church duty. Here are some photos and more later...

Warm Doggy Welcome

.270908. Atone Worship Ministry Retreat @ EL Sanctuary Malacca Pt 2

After a yummy lunchie, we headed to EL Sanctuary, located somewhere in Alor Gajah, a place called Bukit Hantu. No Hantu though, of course. The moment we arrived, we had some problem as the bus couldn't pass through the entrance's gate due to a slanting tree branch. Hence, we gotta walk up the slope to our respective chalets.

It was indeed a lovely place for retreat which offers a serene environment and close to nature feeling. The freshness of the air made us feel just so comfortable and relaxed. As soon as we unload our stuffs into our rooms, we gathered for a bonding session at the well maintained chalet with Ps Lee Choo kick started the retreat officially!! Ohh... And of course, we were welcomed by a pack of cute doggies which also accompanied some of us back to our chalet everytime we walk back.. Haha.. So cute..
